Ana + her son were a dream to photograph. Their affection unfolded before my eyes and made for photos that were effortlessly beautiful. There was no posing here, just two sun-kissed souls living their best lives while I documented. Baby boy was most serene. He needed encouragement to be spontaneous + toddle around like little guys his age, but he eventually found himself frolicking in the open field.

This idyllic photoshoot was a long daydream that heightened my spirits, as I too dream of being a boy mama one of these days. In the deepest part of my soul, I feel that these images are the quintessence of motherhood in all of its glory! I even got a chance to capture some photos of baby just being baby– that is acting on his own accord and not exacly following mama’s lead. I’ll leave those for the family though.

This photoshoot was a memory made, right in the middle of Cheesman Park. Denver, CO. Many more to come with this beloved family and I so cannot wait.
