Hi there! I’m Mauriel, pronounced mah-ree-elle. I am a family lifestyle photographer with a passion for helping people document their legacy, by creating timeless images that capture the full essence of who they are! I am a writer over at The Jesus & Tea Musings Substack and your life-long go to for documenting moments you’ll want to cherish for generations to come.

Two words that describe my work and soul are: Deep & Nostalgic. I aim in every aspect to capture the very essence of who my client is and to tell their story to its core, by creating imagery that is reminiscent of the moment we are freezing!

MY WHY

I am an introvert. I love people, but my favourite pastimes are reading, sipping tea, writing, petting my kitty named Olive, and diving my nose deep into a novel. On any given rainy day, you can find me scrawling up an article, a blog post, or in general just recording my musings, aside a cup of piping hot tea.

The primary heart behind blogging is documenting, which is best done with images that illustrate the story that is being told–hence I find myself here, owning a business that delivers imagery which does just that!

I’m a dreamer + and an adventurous soul. I’m a Jesus seeker + a Jesus follower. You can’t tell me that anything is anything less than possible, or reel me in with practical limitations. I’ll always reach for the sky. I’ll always find a way.

I was Texas born, Colorado raised, and lived in Texas 8 years following the big move my family made to Houston from Denver in 2012. I returned home to Colorado during the 2020 COVID 19 pandemic and it’s been history ever since. I primarily serve clients in Denver, but I aspire to travel one day and serve clients as far as Canada and the UK.

I like to fancy I’m loads of fun to work with and do possess a knack for helping clients feel natural and comfortable in front of the lens as I capture their special moments. Pebble & Stone is at your service for years to come.
